Malaysian Property Terms

Here is a round-up of definitions used by the property industry in Malaysia:

Bungalow – in Malaysia it refers to any detached property, covering any size and built over one or more floors.

Semi - D – is the name given to semi-detached home.

Terraced house – has the same meaning as in the UK.

Condominium – is interchangeable with apartment, but commonly means the property has extra facilities such as access to a gym, pool, etc.
